Day out with friends unexpectedly cancelled :( but tried to make the most of it by getting things done instead. So far:
    • Meal planned (and cooked) for this week. Including [STRIKE]random veg from bottom of fridge [/STRIKE] vegetable medleys :D
    • Spreadsheets examined in detail :D, but still can't sort out formula so balance isn't 0 yet :(
    • Decluttered remnants of red wine :)
    • Broke up jigsaw puzzle Mr GG and I decided we were bored of doing - by door for charity shop :o
    • Washed paint brush restorer off the 3 paint brushes I had let dry up a few months ago :o
    • Those, and other stuff, tidied from utility room which is now tidy :T
    • Pile by front door to go in the garage isn't though :o
    • Bargainous soap powder topped up from large container to small worktop one. So far have managed to resist buying THIS and am making do with THIS :o
    • Kitchen tidied :D
    • Washing sorted and timer set on machine
    • Little nap taken sleeping-and-dreaming-smiley-emoticon.gif
    • About to tackle upstairs

    • Jackdaws in my garden. They're a bit  but glad to see a different bird :D
    • 6 sleeps till holiday (well, 6 for Mr GG, probably 5 for me as I never sleep when I need to get up really early :o) :D
    • Making roasted butternut squash for dinner :D

We've had regular visits from a grey wagtail since Christmas :T (not sure why they are called grey wagtails when they have yellow feathers :D). Mr MWC was convinced that he'd seen a different type of wagtail a couple of weeks ago... on further questioning I deduced that he had seen a long-tailed tit :rotfl:
Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
    Mortgage-free: January 2021
Retired: June 2022 (186 months early!)
