Sold something on ebay so £5 OP coming, plus forgot I had a message to say £5 from Pizza Express was in so that'll go as well :D.

Need to nip up town later to get stocking fillers. Also did a stick take on Xmas paper and tags etc........... I only have enough for one more year :eek::eek::eek::eek:. Will look out for bargains while I am up there, including self-coloured paper to go with multi-coloured tags I got free from somewhere - Approved Foods I think.

Yup. Just need to stick 3 bottles of sparkling wine in bags (had bought nice tubes but bought the small sizes, forgot sparkling wine is thicker glass . ) Just stocking stuff to wrap, plus the twirly ribbon stuff that I add at the last minute :D. I am a :A.

Getting ready for Sports Personality...... Torchy & Mr Flag will be coming out :)

As I'm watching it on my own I may open a bottle of wine for company :o.

All shopping done except socks for DS's stocking plus 2 sugar mice :D.

May have bought myself a dress :o. It's going back - bidding on ebay instead :T. Maybe not a good idea if the wine is out :rotfl:.

And will write cards while it's on :)

Re cards, whilst drinking wine - just make sure you don't write 'ssshee you, you're my besht friend' on each one, then promptly sign them all 'from gallygirl':D

    Oops :o :rotfl:.

Not only are the cards written - I've actually done it early enough to post with the 2nd class stamps I bought a few weeks ago in a fit of organisation :D. Usually I leave it too late and have to send 1st class :o. Mind you, I now don't have a stash of 2nd class stamps to use all year :(.

  • Still using 2nd class stamps from 4 years ago when MrMRN thought we had 500 friends to send Christmas cards to!!! I guess we've saved what with the price of stamps going up annually!
