Don't get me started on Secret Santa - one year I got nothing. No one owned up.

    Enough frivolity. Tasks for tomorrow:
    • make MORE soup. I think the Clangers have moved in :rotfl:. Judging by the cupboard it will be leek and sweet potato. Surprisingly, there are a lot of recipes :D.

OK - now I am getting used to having soup at lunch, I really need to get my head around planning!
I have 3 carrot and ginger single portions in the freezer... and I have stuff in the house for Tomato Soup and for another batch of Thai Spiced Sweet potato and Courgette.

I wasn't that fond of my first attempt at Red Pepper soup - but the portions later tasted better than the soup I had initially...

Another new soupy on the list is Cabbage, Potato and Carrot.. so at some stage I need to get carrots for that and more carrot and ginger.

So if I allow myself a treat from the chippy on a Friday... I need to plan for a batch of at least two soups a fortnight, I think...

My head hurts! Money saving and calorie logging is tough!

That is just so crap I cannot believe that.

Last year for secret santa one I got some scented candles they were nice but I hate them with a passion. I went back to my friends house (also part of the team but wasn't there when we gave out the presents) and told her how much I hated my present.

Ups to my horror she had given it to me. This year I am not entering into an Secret Santas and will make sure I give her a lovely present. So embarrassed I was.

The soups sounds lovely Carrot and Tarragon (Delia) is really nice so is roasted veg (basically any left over veg from Sunday lunch in chicken stock).

Evening Mr GG :kisses2:. I've only been gone a few hours and you're obviously pining for me :smileyhea. We can compare differing recollections at the weekend :D.
