no not the census deff the trading .... just think by teaching me you will be reaffirming your own knowledge and it will make more sense for you ... if that helps ...0

Every so often now, I am reassessing my presence here on mse, tobe honest - I don't have debts, I don't have a mortgage, my money focus is the trading, which nobody understands even though they're interested and are willing to support me - what am I **doing**?
You do still have money 'challenges' though - budgeting, trying to get that extra income to work, and you do still have the French mortgage.. what's the 'pay off as much as you can' £15000 in your sig by the way? I must have missed that at the time
There's a few people about on DFW who don't have debts any more but I think it's inspiring to others to see how people deal with things 'beyond debt' - it definitely makes a change to your mindset regarding money, but also it doesn't mean you suddenly have no problems or challenges!

El, I don't think its right for me to teach you myself - I'm pretty sure mse wouldn't approve and to be honest I don't have the energy right now, I need to get myself out of the hole I'm in of negative income (my business isn't covering even the basic outgoings any more). That means I'm using savings to live on, and thats unsustainable for anyone, especially at my age. I can pm you some websites, and a couple of books, tho, and then when you have specific questions, I can try to answer them.redsquirrel80 wrote: »

Thanks for this, Squizz - I do indeed have money challenges
Pay off as much as you can is a challenge on here - for me, thats the capital repayment element in the French mortgage payments (the amount currently in my sig is one month ) and the rest of the £15k I hope to make from trading so I can open a proper forex account, not a spreadbetting account. 2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

I can pm you stuff - the basics you can get from a website, youtube videos, email lessons, then a practice trading account thats free, there's all sorts of facilities out there, I'd be happy to give you a direction on that. Can't do it now tho - I'll leave the window open for a while, but I have to leave for London in about an hour, need to make some pasta to take with me and all that .

When Z said there was a lot of activity on f/b these days, it got me worried!
Why would that worry you?Every so often now, I am reassessing my presence here on mse, tobe honest - I don't have debts, I don't have a mortgage, my money focus is the trading, which nobody understands even though they're interested and are willing to support me - what am I **doing**?
I understand the trading.
If the only people who were on here were people with debts, then newcomers would imagine that there were no people who'd actually succeeded in getting rid of them."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

You shouldn't be getting stuff off the top shelf. It'll make you go blind..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
