I have tried it.
Got code through the post really quickly (next day).
Got credit report straight away.
It is from call credit.
Very detailed (you can see each months payment).
Have not got onto the second stage yet so cannot comment on that.
The agency used is Call credit.
The only criticism I have is that it didn't ask me for a previous address.
Free trial seems well worth doing (no payment details required).
After that - well at £29.99 annually which is much cheaper than Experian and Equifax. I guess for some people it's worth it and others not.
If you have a reasonable credit rating then it's cheaper to just get the £2 statutory reports once a year or so but it might be a good option for people with credit problems.
There are other threads on this.
Suggest you type garlik into the search facility to read the others but I can't see any harm in doing the free trial.0 -
Funnily enough, I did a search for garlik before posting and there was nothing
Now there are a couple of threads.0 -
I concur with Lisyloo. I signed up for Garlik after reading about it elsewhere on this site on Friday. Got my activation code on Saturday and was able to access my credit report. It gives much more detail about each credit account than Experian creditchecker. It didn't pick up on my One Account though so it seems like I don't have a mortgage.
I liked the credit scoring part and being able to see where I score strongly and not so strongly. it gives an individual score and a household score. You also get a description of your neighbourhood that, I presume, credit companies are able to see.
I wait with interest to see the whole data report which I should be able to access in a couple weeks.0
