Right question 4 has just bit the dust! :j So that means I have 11 left to mark!! I'm hoping to be at 6/15 done by the end of tomorrow. In preparation for this however, I'm giving myself the rest of the night off to have a glass of vino and watch Benjamin Button on C4. I've been wanting to see it for ages.

I still have the 2 long answer questions to tackle but I'm going to ignore those for now. Might try one on Wednesday when I have a full day on marking and DH isn't here. He tries to be quiet bless him but no matter where I am in the house I can hear him and it's very distracting. :rotfl:

Hope my other fellow markers are cracking on ok. I'm well looking forward to getting over the half way mark. Think I'll see a light at the end of the tunnel then. On the 14th June other questions become released and you can choose whether to mark more....at the minute I'm thinking I might ask for more. Depends how much you get given if you do ask though. Don't think I'd cope with hundreds more....my brain would probably explode. But then I'm thinking....hmmmm....think of the money....

Right just winding up to start question 5. The dog is going nuts though so I'm trying to wait until she calms down a little and stays in one place...she'll only distract me otherwise and I'll end up getting blocked again. LOL. I find the first 50 - 100 difficult of each question (depending on what the question is) and then it's like I hit my stride. So just need to break through the wall.

Expecting a phone call from Reeds Rains tomorrow so thinking I'll just head them off at the pass whilst I'm out. Or I could email them the questions we have I suppose? Hmmm....is it better to ask them over the phone (she'll need to call me back anyway....or email them and ask them to ring with back with the answers)? We are playing the we have it on the list but are looking at other things game.

It's one of those...if we lose it we lose it. We aren't even on the market yet so can't moan. That said I could do to pin down DH today and get that list of what needs doing on the house done. Hmmmm.....

Adding to do list for house:
    1. Cancel unused cc's.
    2. Make a list of jobs that need doing on the house.
    3. Put a price on the things that need doing - so that DH's dad knows what he's signing himself up for.
    4. Get more storage unit quotes.
    5. Organise a time period for getting the work done.
    6. Book storage unit.
    7. Put stuff in storage.
    8. Book Belle into kennels for a time period when it's not safe for her to be in the house.
    9. Sort valuation.
    10. Put house on the market!

Wow! A lot to get done. I'll look forward to congratulating you as you tick them off.

    Good luck with question 5.

  • Wow thats some list! Good luck on getting through it :)
I may do a list myself - maybe putting it out publicly will make me get it done!! :rotfl:
Did you go and view the house you were thinking of?? (or did I miss that bit!)

Right been stopped twice already on the same question...only on 17% done. I'm finding this one difficult to get my head round - I don't even know why it's not like it's a long answer question. Ha ha. Still, I'll keep plodding. I think if I get stopped again though I'm terminated on that question. Balls.

Still, I'm up to 86 done. Think my team leader thinks I'm stupid though cos I've been caught out on the exact same thing twice!!! DOH! THICKO! And then I had to ring her up to check something else as well. Ha ha. Still, we'll see. I'm still aiming for two questions done today...even if it includes this one that I'm going to get banned from finishing. This has been the worst one todate. Oophs.

Other things to do today - buy dog food and book Belle in kennels for weekend, and book hotel. YEY.

Correction - doing a different question and I do NOT get how to answer it at all. :rotfl:
My team leader may retire after this. Ha ha. Ah well...at least I'm making her earn her money. She's out so I can't speak to her either. Sooo...do I move on to another question or do I wait...decisions decisions.

At 38% of the new question I moved onto. So that's made me feel a bit better. If I can finish this one and talk to the team leader to finish the other one I'm part way through I'll be a happy bunny. Then I'm just aiming to do one tomorrow because of the prom dress shopping affair. Still will be nice to have part of the day off with my girly friends. :D Must not spend too much money though. Must be good.

    EDIT: It's 6.18pm and I'm 56% through now. C'mon...keep going!
    EDIT: It's 7.05 pm and I'm 75% through now...can I finish it before 8pm?

  • I did moderation one year and my TL went on holiday at the peak time when she needed to help us...she also fibbed dreadfully about what she had and hadn't checked. Nightmare.

So do you quite like Rory then?

OMG! If my team leader went on holiday I'd be stuffed. That poor woman must be fed up of me now. Ha ha. Anyway 1 question 100% done and another at 38%...I'd like to finish it completely really. Not sure if thats pushing it or not.
