This was probably "Hoarding - Buried Alive" on Discovery Real Time.
I love it. For those who haven't watched it, first you see the hoarders and their "stuff". They have generally come to a point in their lives where they have to do something about it. Either they are being thrown out of their rented homes by the landlord, or their relatives won't visit any more. Next segment - a visit from a friend or relative who hasn't seen the mess for possibly years. Then a chat with a psychiatrist who tries to get them to look at their stuff in a different way and realise they don't need it all. Then finally a series of visits from an organiser who helps them go through it, rehoming, recycling and disposing. Ta-da - at the end a cleaner, tidier home (though not always 100% better). If not dealt with properly, say by clearing it all out when the hoarder isn't there, the people go back to their hoarding ways in no time, so they have to make the decisions and work through it by themselves.
Riveting TV (if you like that kind of thing).0 -
No use ups here (also not been on for a day, internet issues and boy you lot are chatty!), a quick question though does anyone use John Frieda Precision Foam Colour as I have a £2 off voucher (for some bizarre reason I joined the John Frieda club and rarely use the stuff!) - basically I was wondering if someone wanted the voucher (valid until January 31st in Boots, Superdrug, Tesco and Sainsburys) if so PM me and I will send it outDo not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

After reading this thread, I thought I would check my stash, I am amazed at the amount of stuff I have so I had better join you.
I have made a list of what I can use, chucked some out and got some unused stuff for ebay
Will put a £1 away for each item used when it is replaced with my stash and also put away any profit from ebay sales .
Might not post often but will keep reading thread , and update on progress.
I must admit I do feel good having just sorted out and listed0 -

Just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to Mags30 who has just alerted me to a very good glitch (only available in Irish Republic sadly so that's why she didn't post it here, but I thought that a public thank you was in order).
Thanks Tara:blushing:roshydoshy wrote: »Ohh Tara/Mags is it a good one? Does it count if I get it delivered to my aunties/cousins house in ROI for a pick up next month

Right, following a clear-out of my makeup this morning I finally have some photos to show you.
First, - eyeshadows:
Lipsticks, glosses, eyeliners, lipliners (bizarrely, I can't remember EVER buying a lipliner or indeed using one!) and blushers:
And finally, and most shamefully, this is the stuff I have thrown out as a result of it being too old, smelling funny, or in some cases (lipsticks!) having developed a slightly furry outer layer.....:o
Bit of an eye opener actually going through everything like that, I knew I had a lot of eyeshadow for example but hadn't realised how much I *actually* had. Found stuff lurking that I genuinely had forgotten that I had too.
Won't list the thrown-away items (just too many!) but I can, at last, delightedly annouce one UU - the wretched Boots Royal Jelly Body Lotion has finally bitten the dust ! :j WIBA? was part of a present (gift set) a few christmases ago, but I think you can safely assume that no, I certainly would NOT buy it again! Now have one of the Sanctuary ones from the set I got in the half price sale at Boots out to use next, as I promised myself I would. It's the Kyphi one which I have been looking forward to trying.

where you put your username & password in to log in, there is a small box which says something like "Keep me logged in?" - if you click on that to mark it, then hit the log in button as normal, you should find that the boards "remember" you next time you visit. Not to be used on shared computers though!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
