accessing mse - having problems

I have been having real problems accessing MSE since i came back form my weenend away last week,:mad: and I have had to do my own excel budget sheets etc. on the plus side I now have a brilliant set of spredsheets tracking absolutely everything I do.:j

Has the site been down or am I the only one not able to get on? I have had problems with our cable tv also but my broadband has been good (for once)

problem is I'm now officially ADDICTED to mse, esp dfw:T and its been a nightmare for me

I've been on and around MSE quite a lot this last week (so welcome to my addiction!!) and I've not seen any problems with it

I would think that your cable company are having the problem there (surprise surprise), but, to flesh out the problem, is it only MSE you've had trouble accessing or is it the entire interweb and/or email? That would be the best way to assess where the fault lies :-) What error message is being produced by your interweb browser when it fails to access MSE?

I think its a conspiracy me self - some banks got together or summat to keep me from paying off me debts!!!!!!

Ive been able to get every other website I've wanted just not mse!!!!

and the cable went off when mse came back on hmmm.

and the error message is just the same as I normally get when unable to access a website.

its very frustrating as you can imagine

btw this is the longest I've been on for over a week now. only been on for a minute or two on one or two days, most of the time unavailable

I use work pc and mse keeps freezing or just takes ages to get into sometimes, but I get there...in the end!

I am having the same problems - cannot get on at all at home on laptop or pc. Addicted to MSE and felt very deprived this week! Only have problems with MSE - on now at work but what can I do at the weekend? Help!!! Only other problem is pigsback - won't accept my password but just returns to log in each time. Getting VERY frustrated!

Hi thrifykatie,

You could try clearing all your cookies etc. that might work with pigsback. Make sure its not saving a password etc, or that your email address is correct. Try connecting thorugh an email from them and then check your account info is correct, perhaps something got changed along the way.

as far as mse is concerned I ran virus checker and it eventually sorted it out, but only when the virus checker had been updated. so it was a recently introduced virus, that my old one wasnt picking up. I blame the banks myself.lol

Its sooo frustrating isnt it.

I've had a lot of messages saying that they are tweaking the new servers or there is a technical glitch so have been unable to access site from time to time. Wonder if there are too many of us for the site to cope!
