oh no something like that happened on my computer when i first had it. There are several ways to get a £ sign back but i can't remember what they are.

ok, try typing

Alt + 0163

hold down the alt key and type 0163

ok that doesn't work in the forums, it takes you around MSE

well it does work if you use it in word, you need to use the numeric keypad to type the numbers, not the numbers across the top of the function keys.

It sounds like you have an Irish keyboard, and I don't mean that in a nasty way.

I am feeling all sorry for myself. I have eaten so much Quality street to cheer me up but i dont want to Aureol. Help. Bloody dryer keeps going off i havent read the instructions either. Booohoooo!
