Blimey, haven't visited since Chrimbo (been to busy following the plight of 'thejonesfamily' and their unexpected geusts). Thread has grown somewhat.

Nice to know I'm not the only one with a cold. It's one of those annoying ones, just hangs around in the background. Still, had my flu jab today so am covered for that.

Nice joke btw, it is good to read good clean humuor for once. Heard this one the other day -

The day of reckoning comes and 9,000 Jehovahs witnesses arrive at the Pearly Gates. The first one in the queue rings the bell and takes a step-back.

As St Peter opens the door, the first one in line announces "we're the Jehovahs Witnesses'.

St Peter replies "Sorry, not today, I'm busy"

Right, I'm off to do my inhaler, bath my eyes then off to bed.
    Nite all.

Liking the jokes and blimey dont you lot all go to bed early!

SW:  I didnt call you dull or ignorant! you are far from that... hope you dont think I did, maybe what I wrote was ambiguos? will go back and re-read it :-(

3dogs :-) have a nice day tomorrow (why you would book a train at the crack of dawn is beyond me!) Who's looking after your three little friends tomorrow - or are you taking them with you?

Hope your eye's ok now beanie.

For my sons birthday we bought him an iPod. For my daughters birthday we bought her an iPhone and for my birthday I recieved an iPad. Thinking along the same lines I bought my wife for her birthday an iRon - and thats where it all went horribly wrong

Good for you resisting take a way,on the plus side of having a stinking cold, don't feel like eating much apart from soup,so must be helping to lose weight along with the stair walking

If you walk to the one in the next town, maybe enough for half a portion of chips.
