I'm actually worse off, working longer hours! And that is only because tax credits help with childcare. I won't get any money from them if I work longer hours, although they will help with childcare, possibly. I still owe them money as I was overpaid, so don't know how that would be paid back. Dread to think!

Morning everyone - hope you are all well and looking forward to a good day today :D

I'm off in a moment to drop Mr 3Dogs at the car boot yard to take down these records and start sorting out his stall for Friday. Then I am going to do some shopping and come home and do some housework, before I pick the doggies up from the kennels. Oh, and I got my salary notice for my pension which shows the tax deducted now, so I am popping into the council offices to do a change of circumstances form for our housing benefit/council tax benefit too

    See you all later :j :j :j :j

    Window cleaner day.
    :-(
He doesnt visit my house... (i had to put a stop to that when he started appearing at the bedroom windows before 8 o'clock in the morning, the female lodger that lived here at that time didnt like that one bit and im not surprised either) ...but he still visits some neighbours and he makes such a clatter with his ladders that smokey dog thinks we're under attack. He was four doors away today when the dog started growling and by the time he was next door nearly half an hour later, the dog was barking constantly at full volume and I was ready for shoving his clattery ladders somewhere very unpleasant!!

blimey puddings! We must be lucky, we don't have a window cleaner but the neighbours do and I rarely hear anything from them!

    hi dragon
years ago, when i challenged him about the early morning thing, he said that he worked the hours that daylight allowed. but I thought then (and still do now) that he was talking a load of rubbish. I'm convinced that he was a bit of a perv. There was my lodger and also a house with a young lady further up the street, he doesnt clean either of those houses anymore, (its just much older people round here that use him now) and he now does his rounds in this area during the afternoon, and not early morning. coincidence?
Anyway smokey dog doesnt like him, and hes a good judge of character (unless of course youre a friendly cat, rabbit or squirrel)!
