Evening Puds - wonder what they expected to find    Seriously, do you have to go back to hear what they have decided from your assessment?

    Hello All

I've never braved a home dye - well once as a teenager with terrible results. I have friends that do and look great with it but they have different styles to me. I did think I might ask someone cheaper at the salon to do it to save money but I really like my hairdresser and wouldn't trust anyone but him to cut it.

Sorry your dad is driving you crazy with calls Kit -I'm sure he means well but know what you mean when you cannot get any peace.

Hello 3dogs - not dogs still? it must seem really strange without them? How is your DRO going? are any creditors still bothering you or have they got the message now?

Good luck with the weigh in beanie. 3dogs thats fab about the size of the pjs isn't it. Oh just seen half off beanie - thats good. Sorry I'm posting all jumbled up today.

Vix - I enjoyed michel roux's service as well - I thought brooke would get one of the places as well - but at least she was offered that job with Fred which sounds like a great opportunity as well. I though it was an interesting program and a bit different from all the chef programs that are usually on.

Hiya Tixy - I'm sure that it would be OK to have a junior stylist to colour your hair and still have your normal stylist do your cut, as I used to do this all the time, mainly coz my stylist did not do colouring. Or try the local college for your colour as they are always looking for people as models - they have an actually salon in the colleges, and everything is under strict supervision - they are often looking for different 'heads' to do, as their main clientelle seem to be shampoo and set/blow dry on OAP's and they love to get experience on other styles and/or colouring techniques - the added bonus is that they are very reasonable indeed

When I lived up North, I used our local college salon all the time and found them great :j

Superb programme i thought! I could see myself eating that sort of food, and being treated like that quite easily :D

Home hair dye is so easy, i love the results i get. I'm always joking in photos of me saying how multi tonal my hair is!! The last hairdresser that cut my hair thought it was my natural colour :D *proud* I will go brunette one day, when im 31.

Beanie: Well done on your loss!

Ooo go you beanie! - I've never been to a 1star one even! I'd like to though. Put me down for you post lottery win trip!
There is a really good quality hidden gem restaurant not far from here which we rarely go to but think I might go on my birthday - its not michelin standard but its very nice and great food (and desserts!).

My hair is actually several different colours so doing a home kit as it is now wouldn't be possible so I'd have to get used to a single colour if I went for it. I could try a college I guess - I'd have to get my current hairdresser to explain what he does though so I could ask them to replicate it.
