you click on a person's user name, then click on view public profile. does that make sense? I learned all this on another site. We know so much now and i am still a luddite. Want to do a facemask but the tesco man will faint if i have lush chocolate facemask on when i open door. Wish they would hurry up!

Good news on Mam front today :j :j My brother was there at lunch-time and she ate her food all by herself, that's her lunch and a bowl of banana & custard, followed by a cup of tea and dunked biscuit. She was still coughing but not bothering her, and she was still happy

Then when my sister went down after work, she said Mam ate her dinner herself too, down to scraping the bowl out!! The coughing/gurgling starts when she eats, so 'just' the usual, but she is not troubled by it, and is very happy at the moment so we are well pleased :T :T :T They didn't need to spoon-feed her, though her food still has to be pureed/mashed/soft, but this is a great improvement :T :T :T :T

Don't know if I said the other day, but she now has a cut on her upper arm, which they are leaving open to dry it out (???) Brother said best way to describe it would be if a finger nail dug into her skin, an arc shape, but it is the wrong way for her to have done it herself, and I don't think this was how it was caused as the carers all wear latex gloves when dealing with patients

More worrying is the 2nd wound on her leg which, when nurse change dressing the other day, was all yucky with pus - my sister is keeping a close eye on it though ;)

Glad mam is better and feeding herself. How do you think the cut was caused?
