Update on Mam: Mam was fully awake again yesterday, herchest was still bad but not bothering her too much, though the catheter tube was hurting her - my sister checked it but couldn't see anything wrong, and nursesaid shehad checked it too. Anyway, sheate her lunch and then dinner and ice cream. However, the nurse told my sister that Mam had been behaving rather odd that day - had shouted at her down the corridor waving her hand and shouting 'you, come here', but when she got there, Mam would only laugh and didn't want anything. She's been laughing loads. They have sent a stool sample away for culture tests due to the diarrhoea and antibiotics, but results not due in till next week
When my sister got there today, she heard Mam shouting for her as she went down the corridor but shesettled quickly. She ate all her dinner. They have run out of liquid paracetamol so she has to have tablet form crushed in her drink until they get some inMr 3Dogs 3-7-12
