Hi again. Blimey you really are a friendly lot on this thread, so many lovely comments just from one tiny post :-) thankyou so much.

My 3 challenges for 2011 are mainly to do with becoming more healthy and just like myself, they might at first glance appear a tad eccentric...
1)I aim to lose 10 stone over the year (might seem a lot but i'm a floorboard breaking 26+ st at the moment so dropping 10 isnt unreasonable)
2)I aim to climb the equivalent height of Everest during January (base camp to summit is 11328 feet and my stairs are just over 8' so it works out that i need to go up them 45 times each day during the month)
3)I've got my own business - I've been doing it for 8 years and its never been a big sucess but last year it was worse than ever. In 2011 i'm going to give it a last chance: will give it everything that I've got, and if it still fails after that then I've made a promise to myself that I'll (reluctantly) pack it in :-(

Did beanie tell you about this?

A big welcome to you, Puddings - I think you will fit in very nicely on here - you know the saying? You don't have to be mad to post here ...... but if you are it helps!!!!!!!!!!! Well that certainly applies here. We like to concentate of the fun side of life but also deal wit the bad bits too - the debt, the weight, work, home problems, you nam it, we share it - coz a problem shared is a problem halved, ain't it?

Love the challenges and good luck with them all Petal - to give you heart in your weight loss, yes, you can lose 10 stone in a year - it has been done, we ave seen it time and time again through Sl!mm!ing W0rld, though people do it other ways too. Although it took longer, Mr 3Dogs was 20 st 4 1/2 lbs but lost 7 1/2 stone to get to 12 st 11 1/2 lbs, and I went from 19 stone to 14 st 7 lbs, losing 4 1/2 lbs. Mind you, Christmas got in the way for me so I am not hat now  and Mr 3Dogs put over 2 stone back on when I was away for 7 weeks plus Christmas. We are all in this together, and will support each other whichever way we can

Miche, love the challenges too - and she's off the mark with a goody goody day today :T

We are off the mark too, with going back on plan from yesterday and we feel better already - don't know what tomorrow's weigh-in will show, as we were very naughty again from last Monday till Friday, but the main thing is that we are on the right path again :j :j :j :j

Hey 3Dogs, try to do 3 searches a day, or is that 6? or nectar toolbar, to get your points by the end of the month. That is what I am doing, if I am not doing genuine searches, to make sure I get my points.

Just watched iPlayer, Mike's rebuild. I cried. Makes me proud to be part of MSE.

We still have DIY SOS to watch from Sky+ so really looking forward to seeing it and I agree, it certainly makes you proud to be part of MSE :money:
