2011 CHALLENGE: Eleventh Heaven

Thanks, fortuna, for keeping this running. Am I the only person who didn't win anything on their list? (hangs head in shame ) It's been a bit of a dry year, and although I've won some other things (including lots of cheese, for some strange reason:rotfl:) I haven't won any of the things I set out to win.

Oh well, onwards and upwards - same list again then next year!

My final tally, 6/11 isn't too bad!

1. TV - Nope, but don't really need anymore as split with OH

2. Holiday / Short break - I wish!

3. Hamper - Yay, I won a Ryvita hamper!


4, Vouchers worth £100 (as a single win) - Several times over (£500 House of Fraser, £300 Love to Shop, £200 Arcadia, £100 Tesco, £200 Tesco, £120 ASOS) - wiphee!

5. At least 5 paperbacks (from numerous competitions) - Got this several times over too!

6. iPod for OH - Nope but again don't really need anymore.

7. Blu-ray player - Nope, again.

8. Something garden related - Won a basil growing kit.

9. Something cross stitch / knitting / sewing related - Won some farmyard buttons.

10. Nintendo DS - No, again...

11. At least £100+ cash (as a single win) - Yesss, several times over again (£300, £201.20 x2, £200)

Looking forward to trying for 20 in 2012!

I think I aimed too high and need to set my sights lower... in theory I managed 3 of 11 but items for charity night were technically 2010 wins i gave to the charity night at end of jan. The Premiere tix I won but never realised were in manchester when I entered so had to decline the win and trampoline I won is unfortunately still in the boxes in my bedroom as its massive and we are moving somewhere with a tiny garden soon so it couldnt be used as a xmas present in the end :rotfl: Didnt even manage number 1 on my list and ended up having far too many hospital dinners :eek: .

Hi just going through all the challenges of 2011 I joined. Didn't do too well with my 11th heaven list. Crossed off no 6 earlier in the year as I won a CD although it wasn't Bon Jovi related. The only other thing I can declare is a box of chocolates won in local raffle if that counts - so that is No 8 on my list . Hopefully 2012 will be luckier for me.

Looking back on my list, I actually did better than I thought I had, though I haven't won anything big this year at all. I think my wins have amounted to about £450, but a lot of that e.g peppa pig tickets, car ferry were things I gave to other people. Next year I want to win something for me!!!!

thanks very much for keeping this going all year! Unfortunately I have had very little luck with comps this year (and a little less time than previous years thanks to baby number 3 arriving!)
But I do enjoy comping and will keep plodding through them. Perhaps 2012 will be my big win year

Strange (in a good way) thing has happened, although I didn't win everything on the list I have aquired things in other ways, and looking at the other posts others have too :j

1. Chocolate - had plenty of that this year, maybe too much
2. Cash (£500+)
3. Digital radio with Cd player-got with the help of Tesco clubcard doubling up
4. Car !
5. TV (32"+)-Parents won the money to replace their nearly new one so gave the nearly new one to us !! :j
6. Wireless printer- received one as a present :j
7. Something for my cats (Pet tales cat pack-bed, toy and bowl)
8. Something for OH ("Russian for dummies" book, WBA tixs x 2!!!!)
9. Food Hamper (Dorset cereals variety packsx3)
10. Any vouchers ( £10 sports direct,voucher for spa experiance including overnight stay and £100 for expences!!!!)
11. More chocolate please-really didn't go without this year!

It's making me believe in the power of making a list-cosmic ordering. Know that sounds a bit alternative but seems to have happened.

I only managed number 7 :rotfl: However, i did receive number 1 as a Christmas present, so guess that's a "win."

I'm still a bit puzzled about the official challenge in 2012, but hopefully something will be sorted.
