Ok before I start I just want to say I am a HUGE S&G fan...but...

Do you guys think this is such a bargain? I'm not so sure it is...Boots seem to have lumped together a number of S&G products that are being discontinued with some others which haven't had 'rave' reviews with a couple of decent products and few lip products, very careful marketing and timing too, straight after the much sought after tote bag and all the publicity that went with it. Don't get me wrong I'm a HUGE S&G fan (the size of my stash could tell you that) but I'm just not convinced this package is one of the most 'thought' out products from a consumers point of view, great for boots and their profits but less so for the likes of us who's bathrooms it will clutter up with half used products. Just my opinion, I think Boots have been very naughty here.

Or perhaps I'm missing something and it's a fab buy?:rotfl:

I can see your point however i think this is almost like a treat/end of season sale box from Boots and S&G for all us hardcore S&G fans - Boots have not advertised or promoted this box at all and its actually quite difficult to find if you search for it on the Boots site, Also S&G have not mentioned the offer on their site or FB page which they usually do - Boots could have made a big fanfare out of this and sold out in minutes by adding it to the sale section of their site but instead have allowed people to find it for themselves and actually have a chance to get a set.

I kind of agree with you Queen, which is why it's taken me so long deliberating. But I don't have a stash, I just have the lovely few things my OH gave me at Christmas (from a list provided by me of course!).

So I've gone through the list so helpfully provided by headpodd and figured it's a lovely treat. Sure, even I could buy the odd item for a fiver or so, but would never otherwise splash out on a whole collection of the stuff:) I have Christmas money to spend, a rare thing, and my birthday is the 14th so I'm with Diamond78:T

3 products discontinued, 1 product has been rebranded (and what you get in this set is the older branding) 2 cellulite firming creams (one only available in the US) but if you read the reviews they don't really work...touch & Glow and Clean Mary are the only 2 decent products in that lot (maybe motherpucker if you're into lipgloss), the rest are being off loaded because they are low sellers/been discontinued/had a brand overhaul. Of course it hasn't been advertised far and wide because a set like this would damage S&G's reputation, unlike the tote bag which is full of mostly gorgeous smelling S&G classics...you won't find that gorgeous famous s&g smell in these products ladies, sorry.

Some people are saying it's a chance to try some of other products, great but you won't be able to buy some of them again because they are end of lines.

Happy New Year everyone. Must admit I am very tempted by this offer, thanks OP for pointing us in the direction of it.

I am kicking myself for not buying Tote Bag this year when I saw it instore. I dont know what I was thinking when I saw pile in my local store and looked in one and walked away.:eek: And this was even on the monday of the offer when I would not have expected any to be left.

Have been hoping that there may be some individual S&G sale bargains instore like last year. Remember picking up the handwash for £1ish, think this was definitely after New Year, anyone else remember, think there was a foot scrub as well. Maybe if some of these value pack items are being discontinued they may appear instore.

Did top up my hatbox with 3 4 2s etc during year and got couple gift sets for xmas so am undecided as yet. Thanks to those keeping us updated on stock levels of this offer.

I didn't know that I stocked up ages ago after I tried it in last years hatbox and loved it, haven't had to buy any since and am only just using my last one up now, !!!!!! damn you S&G, one of the best face washes I've come across.

DON'T BUY IF YOU DON'T NEED!

Not worth having loads of product sitting on your shelf not being used for over a year or more if you don't need it or already have too much. Save your money on something you need if this is the case. Thanks for these brilliant finds but i talk from experience. It's easy to overspend on luxuries you don't need or could find as good alternatives cheaper.

This particular page is a double edged sword.
