i did mine on word. Simple cross and baby's name on the front, details on the inside. I added ribbon to the Godparents/Grandparetns as I knew that they would keep them as a "keepsake".
if you pm your email I may be able to send it to you. (my IT skills depending lol)0 -
Sorry -
actually, I just tried to open it but I havent used word - I have used this programme (the free edition) http://www.serif.com/desktop-publishing-software/
and then cut & pasted it into word. So unless your child is also called "Henry George" it wont be much use to you as you wont be able to edit it! lol
The serif programme has tutorials on utube and although looks difficult at first, is actually quite easy to use.
Otherwise truprint/snapfish do nice photo postcards that would work for Christening Invitation. The photo cards are on glossy photo paper and the stationary cards are mat, textured card but you can have printing on both sides (and are more invitation like)0 -
and I am back again!
have just come across https://www.smilebox.com and it has some really lovely (free) template for all occasions.0 -
Dont forgect to add in cost of printing ink I know my printer would need at least one ink at £14.99 to print this many much more if fuller pages. If you are paying £22.50 for card, paper and ink its not a bad deal.0

Just to say, have you thought about getting invites printed like photos? They'd work out cheap enough to get a big batch of them done up at once and you wouldn't have the added expense of buying new ink for your printer! You could print them up, 4x6 which is the usual size of photos or 5x7 which are a bit bigger
Just pop all the info on the front along with a photo or two and people could keep them afterwards
I know a wee bit about photoshop and the like so if you like I could have a go at doing a wee invite for you? If you didn't like it there's still time before the end of JanThrow us a wee PM if you want I'm always around here somewhere!
I spotted these two when I quickly looked through google:I am the shoreline, but you're the sea... :heartsmil0
