Doesn't really sound like a windfall, more like it'll just wipe their debt! Seems awful to think that their entire debt is made up of bank charges....

I wonder though how the banks are going to start reacting to these massive claims coming in, and more and more of them. They're already freezing accounts, slashing interest rates, putting up APRs for the claimants. How long before this flows over to people who haven't incurred any charges on their accounts? I can't help feeling that we're all going to lose out in the end, the banks aren't going to just hand this money over with recouping it somehow...

Not quite that severe, but I'm putting in a claim for the last 6 years once my duplicate statements arrive and I bet I'll have to miss a few off to keep it under £5k (so it can still go through small claims).

    I hope I win - it's gonna pay for new double-glazing!!

Not ideal - I nearly wet myself when I totted up the charged for the last year. In the last 12 months alone it's £1500
    Time for drastic action methinks!!
