i was made redundant today and dont start new job till 13th nov

will i be entitled to claim anything up until then?

my daughter is still in childcare (or she would lose her place)

i didnt have to work 4 weeks notice so end nov i will get a normal taxable wage plus 2 months of untaxible wage as redundancy payment

im very confused please help

hi if you had said ive been made redunandt and i have no wages comming in till middle of november i woulfd have said apply for HB CB, but as you will be getting a wage i dont think you will be entitled to anything.
Having said that get in touch with a welfare rights advisor (avaiable at your local sure start building) for some advice. Good luck in your new job!! MMM x

sorry you have lost your job

you wont be entitled to claim anything because even though you arent working, you are still being payed.
