I have a meter for my electric and I'm wondering if its cheaper at night for us in Northern Ireland?

Does anyone know?

    The answer (AFAIK) is that it can be - I think their are three power card meter tariffs - the flat rate normal one, an Economy7 one (cheaper at night) & an Eco-friendly one (same price as std tariff).

    Just checked - seems there is now a 4th one! http://www.nieenergy.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/tariffs_domestic.pdf

    Thanks, i switched to the powershift one today :) tumble dryer can wait to be used after 7pm :)

    We switched to the power shift nearly a year ago daily spend went from about 1.60 per day down to 1.20-1.40 per day. we well worth it.

    Don't forget that when the clocks change again that the powershift times change as well. They move forward an hour so the most expensive time is between 5pm and 8pm.
