Washing machine advice please

Hi, I'd like some advice re washing machine programmes. As Ariel have been running their wash at 30 degrees and use less electric campaign. I have a washing machine that has a quick wash lasting 30 minutes at 50 degrees, whilst the 30 degree wash lasts an hour and a quarter. Which programme would use less electric? Any ideas

Thanks

My new machine does "time for you" washes, I stick with that if the clothes arn't actually dirty, just need freshening up so to speak
