Good Luck Teen, at least you're doing something about it and there's loads of guys on the DFW forums who genuinely want to help xxxMy LBM - December 2010!

Provident: £1,700
Black Horse: £3,471
TOTAL: £8,480 :eek:0 -
Can I suggest the OP actually reads the link that I provided? Progress is being made. Clearly the OFT have found Firstplus’ administration of the loan rate variances to be in breach of regulation, so maybe if the OP followed the advice and put more pressure on OFT to actually disclose the requirements placed upon them this might result in rates being lowered.
We have got to this stage by banding together at www.firstpluscomplaints.co.uk and forcing the issues. It has taken 2 years of complaining to get this far. We moved our discussions to our dedicated forum due to the condescending remarks from the high proportion of the holier than thou brigade on this forum. I should point out that there are some helpful posters here and it is the first stop for many, hence why I keep providing updates.

It gives everyone (including yourself, its a real eye opener sometimes!) an overview of what you have coming in, and what you have going out, what the shortfall is etc. People can also advise on a way to get you on an easier path.
I'll save the OP the time and effort of exposing their spending to the world on DFW...
Pay your council tax over 12 mths instead of 10.
Check that you are getting the best deal on gas, electric and phone using one of the comparison sites.
Go to the Old-Style Moneysaver board and see how to feed a family of 4 for 80p a week.
That TV package is a luxury that you can cut by using Freeview or Freesat.
You don't need an emergency fund, this is an emergency.
Don't buy any more clothes for the next 6 months.
Get you hair cut by a friend for nothing.
Do you need 2 cars, can't one or both of you get a bike or use the bus?
Do some bar-work in the evenings.
You can't afford the contract for the iPhone or Blackberry that you just signed up to, change it to a cheap PAYG and stop using the phone.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0
