Put out the word to family , friends and work colleagues that you are looking for stuff - and don't say no to anything - you can always freecycle it. It's amazing how much people are glad to see go to a new home to be used rather than being dumped

Sounds like it's coming together nicely. Just noticed you live in the same area as me, have you tried the freecycle here and the Newcastle one, because if you have transport the Newcastle one is huge!

Whem my hubby and I started out we had bean bags instead of a sofa and we slept on a air bed (lilo) for a year:money: .......now I'm old and have proper furniture and I wish i was young wiv nothing;) :rolleyes:
