I've got 3 debts with Lloyds, the largest is £6300 with their mastercard. I started a payment plan with them nearly 2 years ago, but after 6 months they wrote and said it had ended and I need to go back to paying them the original amount. I tried to talk to them but they were really unreasonable, so I got the hump and stopped paying them (not very mature, I know)
Anyway, each month they send me a statement but no 'demands'. I don't know whether to send them a copy of my SOA and offer them the £34 a month they should be getting on my payment plan, or just leave it and hope it goes to recoveries? It's been about 15 months since I've made a payment on the account.

Personally I would either offer the money while I had it or put it to one side so when they demand it, I have it. A token payment will look better on your part than nothing at all and it will pay it off quicker too

Another one popped out of the woodwork...time to work hard again!0 -
But if I don't pay it, will it go to recoveries quicker (and then the interest will stop)? I'm not trying to get out of the debt, I just don't want to give Lloyds any more than necessary!!0

Bump. Does anyone know if it's more or less likely to go to recoveries if I don't pay it while they're not demanding it?0
