Completely off topic so please excuse me but has anyone got a graph of month by month average house price for the last 18 months ?
Roswell, there's this downloadable spreadsheet on Nationwide's website which adjusts average house prices for inflation, so giving a more realistic comparison.

It certainly makes for very interesting reading.

The graph, at the foot of the figures, certainly shows that we're currently well above trend.
    Mortgage Feb 2001 - £129,000
    Mortgage July 2007 - £0
Original Mortgage Termination Date - Nov 2018
    Mortgage Interest saved - £63790.60
    ISA Profit since Jan 1st 2015 - 98.2% (updated 1 Dec 2020)

That's a turn up for the books with The Abbey. When my wife and I remortgaged after moving up the property ladder in May, we couldn't borrow more than 3.0 x joint. Thankfully we found a house that fell within our reach.

I hope the prices dont crash, if they do I hope it doesn't happen for at least 2 more years as me and my girlfriend really want to move out of the valleys to put our son in a better school :(
