It's very very difficult to get a mortgage, the banks simply aren't lending.

Why do you think you do not have a very good credit rating? Any CCJ's? Any defaults? Any missed rent payments?
Right to Buy is not straight forward so you may be better seeing a broker if you are not confident dealing with it yourselfI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. When was the default and for how much?
Late payments on rent? If so when were they?
Right to Buy is like anything else. It is straight forward if you know what you are doing with it. If not it can become difficult.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
