Cash for clicks

I'm a bit of a newbie to earning cash from link clicking so I'd like a bit more detail as to what it is I should be looking for to click on to earn me cashback. I've read the cash for clicks tab (below) but am struggling to understand what I should be doing in order to earn cashback.

Do I do searches for shopbot links? If so, which ones?
I'm going to start off with Quidco, Topcashback & Pigsback so help for these sites would be appreciated.

I wouldn't bother if I were you. I used to do it back in the days when you could get 30p per click and more, but now they pay just 1-3p.
Most of the sites never even pay up. Not the cashback sites, the sites you click on while logged into the cashback sites.
I tried it again for a month during the summer. "Earned nearly £14, but as of a minute ago, only £4.76 has been received by the cashback site, the other £9.odd is still pending.
I did my last click on 11 August! over 4 months and most haven't been paid!!!!!
Unfortunately, the cashback site charges £5 per year, so I won't get anything until until my balance is over £5.0 -
Topcashback do not charge you £5 what you earn is what you get, they just limit your first payout at a minimum of £5Survey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740

It's what they get paid they pay you.
You can do a "daily click" but there's no guarantee you will get paid for it.
Well if your getting 5% cashback on your purchase then thats what you earn and 5% is what you get,
Quidco take £5 off you.Survey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740 -
Ok, so is the general consensus that daily cash for clicks is a waste of time given that (a) these sites fail to pay out fully and (b) the actual cash you now get for a click is extremely low?
If anyone disagrees and thinks it is worthwhile and has any other advice to make it worthwhile, let me know and I'll look into it a bit more. Otherwise I'll scratch it off my list for "to do's in 2011".
On that note, of the schemes I intend to partake in (see below), how would you rate them in order of most - least worthwhile in terms of moneymaking, time consumption, reliability, etc:
online surveys
product reviewing
matched betting
music rating (slicethepie)
daily clicks0 -
Well if your getting 5% cashback on your purchase then thats what you earn and 5% is what you get,
1. The thread is about earning money by clicking, not getting cashback on items you buy.
2. If the cashback from purchases is what you earn, and what you get, why is this forum full of people complaining they never got paid the cashback from their purchases.
As many people keep pointing out, cashback is not guaranteed, you should regard it as a bonus if you get it.0 -
Cashback clicks, about a year ago I used to make quite a bit from this, £15/week for not much effort.
Mine still track, but the amounts you can earn compared to before renders it not very time effective-before you could do for example 20 searches for some sites, now you can do just a few on each site for 1p.
Assoon asI reach my cash out limit I will not bother again and just do the "extras" on those sites, i.e insurance comparison site searches and sign up offers which still pay quite a good amount.0
