I signed up to all these bidding things and used the free bids and nothing else, although I did win on Doobids. I only won WiiFit Plus which I wanted for myself and there was a problem because after a couple of weeks it didn't arrive.

I did email them and they said they were out of stock and couldn't order anymore but said I could pick something to the same value from Amazon. I picked WiiFit plus because I wanted it and they said they were up to their ordering limits for this item, so I said I'd have an amazon voucher to the value, which I got via email and not only managed to order WiiFit Plus but a rechargeable battery for the balance board.

So I'd said use caution, don't bid above your means and just see it as a bit of fun for five minutes

Its all about luck on that website... you just got to be lucky no one else bids and bumps the time up after you place your bid.... They do pay out, I won a Nintendo Wii from there back in the day when it was new.

Basically you buy bids, a tenner gets you 5 bids (or something like that), each bid adds time to the auction, and puts the price up (the price doesn't mean anything though really). Like above, its all about timing, you bid, and you just have to hope the other person(s) have run out of money/gone to bed/computer crashed......
