How stupid do we feel today?
End of October was a bit tight i.e just a couple of quid left until today.
Got paid today....yippeeeeee!!!!!!!
Started to work out our weekly budget for the rest of the month, and came up with a good manageable figure. No problems there you may say. Went shopping, put petrol in the car, paid off a couple of minor bits. Again no problem there either. Put the remainder of this weeks budget into an envelope we have for safe keeping and what do we find? Any ideas? No?
A nice crisp ten pound note inside...DOH!!!!!!!!! This must have been put there early on in October and we forgot it was there. :rotfl:
Oh well, been paid now so it doesn't really matter too much. Just feel a bit well....Homer Simpson-ish....
And that means an extra tenner for this week....ooooooooo!!!!!!!
Anyone else done something real silly they can now laugh about, this could be a whole new thread that goes on forever.....well maybe not:p

I wore my gloves at the weekend for the first time this winter. In the finger of one of the gloves was a twenty pound note. I've no idea why i'd have put it there but I got so excited. Now I can go and buy the cats tablets with cash....how sad is that!January budget

i needed to put some cheques in the bank, so i thought leave the car at home and treat little one to a ride on the bus (so used to just using the car).
Got all the way into town, queued in the bank when it got to my turn i couldnt find the cheques, I had left them on the kitchen side back at home:rolleyes:
So I had to go back on the bus, walk back home, get the cheques, back to the bus, back to the bank, then home again.
My son thought it was great and i was cream crackered!!
I double check i have everything b4 going to town now.Look atfer the Pennies and the ££££'s will care for themselves :money:0 -
gibboking - thanks for making me laugh!
Hope you've put your feet up this evening!
I haven't got any wonderful tales to share
I nearly had one today when I put my hand into my jacket which I hadn't worn for a while and felt a piece of paper. I thought it felt like a bank note, unfortunately it was a love note from my OH
He put it in there before I left for work. I was a little disappointed I admit! :rotfl: Leason learnt :beer:0
