Shopping at the weekend - went over budget by £50. then today went to get in the car and had a flat. Finally got tyre quotes down from £160 to £84 at Kwik-fit but they thought they might be bale to repair it for £17.50. However they couldn't in the end so I've got to pay for that tomorrow.
It's my wife's birthday this month and we're already out of money. Plus it's also about 10 relation's birthdays between now and xmas. And my car tax and MOT are due at the end of the month. And the car needs work to pass the MOT.

Spoke to Payplan today anyway as we can't seem to break even each month and we're having a full telephone interview with them on Sunday to see what they can do. So I guess that's something positive.
Not looking for sympathy or anything, but I just needed to get that off my chest. Reading abbout other's success here keeps me giong.;)

Sorry to hear you're having a bad day... I've always said there's 2 things in life that bleed you dry, and that's cars and families. LOL. On a serious note though, could you do something for your wife that didn't involve spending money? Could you take her out for a picnic somewhere or something like that?Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

On the tires front, I always used to get mine done at the scrappers, and they were always fine and a fraction of the price of new, in fact occassionally I got a newish tyre, that had been someones spare.

I called lots of mobile fitters as I can't miss work tomorrow. In the end my Dad managed to lend me his car to get there. One local place could do it this evening for £165, most others couldn't do it until Thursday. However I did come across good reviews for etyres in my searching.0 -

sorry you are having a bad day - cant say anything about tyres, I actually phoned up a garage once to complain that my car wasnt driving very well and the guy on the phone told me that I had a flat tyre
yes I am blonde before you ask
Why dont you have a night out - in. Get done up as if you are going out but have a nice meal in - make an effort - it is the thought that counts you know.
Good luck with the telephone interview - hope you manage to get things sorted out.

OH and I don't bother anymore with Christmas and birthday presents. We have more pressing things to spend our money on.

Sorry you're having a tough time, know exactly how you feel as we've just had to tax and mot DHs van, by some miracle it passed but the garage said its near the end of its life unless we spend a fortune on it next year so we've got to save for another.
The tyre seems expensive to me, our garage does them for about £50 - not top of the range make admittedly but they all do the same job.
Hope you manage ok and good luck!;)Do what you love :happyhear0
