on the 17th this month my hubby finally got his payslip with nil tax code well with major bugs going around our house week b4 xmas didnt get round to sending it off and 1st class post had finished for xmas and last thing wanted was it getting lost so have held on to it (of course saved the money to pay them) and this friday is another pay day so will send both together now. But my question is, where my husband was signed off work for a week with sickness obviously his wages were affected, do moon beever send a letter each time to tell you how uch to pay etc... or do you just pay each time the amout you put on your BR forms? also how do they take payment because of course we dont have cheques anymore.
thanks in advance Happy New Year to you all x

moon beever do different things depending on the circumstances, if you get in touch with them they will tell you what to doHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.0 -
Moonbeever will deal with each wage slip separately.
The amount 'quoted' will always be somewhat adrift from the actual figures...especially if overtime is involved..or, as in your case, sickness deducted.
They will send a letter informing you how much to pay each time...
They are quite helpful...even though they have to demand payment at the start of each month, they allow up to 3 weeks before getting agitated.
This allows your pay to hit your bank before you pass on the relevant amount.
In my case, I established firstly, a Standing Order for the basic amount I knew I would have to pay [I get/got paid right through any sick...only getting deductions when on strike]....then, on receipt of my wageslip, Moonbeever would come back with either the total amount I should pay [from which I deducted my standing order]..or, if it was the really really kind clerk at Moonbeevers, I would be told exactly how much extra to pay.
Sometimes they took up to 6 weeks or more to get back to me.......snowed under with work I suspect...
Since I had a standing order for the basic amount, I knew something was going into their account..so I didn't worry.
As for payment, if you check the original Moonbeever letter, they not only provide paying-in slips..but also details so that SO's can be set up.
You don't mention which of the two banks you use?
[Co-op or Barclays]
The Co-op Cashminder account can be run online....just contact and apply...
This is useful, as in my case, I set my own SO up...and simply paid the balance as a bill or payment.
It is important you use the identifier Moonbeever give you, so they can track your payment.
They will likely, at some point, change the account details as well...
Of course, if you banked with Barclays, you may have to go into the bank and set things up, or make a transfer ..'over the counter?'No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0 -
