Hi everyone,

After spending days on searching internet for the cheapest and reliable online companies i've decided to go with bedzrus.co.uk. The reason i'm going with them is that there prices are already reasonable and they do price match on top of that. They're also giving 7 days satisfaction guarantee of course on the expense of collection cost but at least there's no insane 50% restocking charges. Also spoke to them on phone, for the items avaialability, they don't have in stock because of item type i believe but they are saying they go to the Hyder and Julian Bowen next week for more stock so i should get everything by end of next week.

Sorry for long message but i'm spending a grand on both Hyder Bali bed and Julian Bowen Minuet bedroom furniture, so just getting final advise from you all. Thanks

Then who should we go with, it's so difficult to find reliable ones. I've spent days in searching for them, my wife driving me mad on the other hand that i'm taking so long in ordering bed and furniture.

I'm sure DSR means that if you don't like the item you can return with 7 days at no expense

I wonder why you are so fixed on that particular bed ??

because according to my research this is the only reliable ottoman bed within my range, as i can't see it physically so i don't wanna try anything unknown.

If you are looking at a double Hyder Bali bed, this Ebay seller with very good feedback is £31 cheaper than Bedzrus.

As regards the Julian Bowen furniture I can't suggest alternatives because I don't know which specific items you're looking at but it's always worth checking on Ebay for price comparisons. Just remember to bear in mind the sellers' feedback ratings.

i just used bedzrus and had no problems with them. they kept us informed about delivery despite the snow and everything arrived when they said and was very well wrapped

Thanks for the feedback guys, as i mentioned they did the price match for me as i found hyder bali at £284 from idealhomestore so they're giving me at the same price.

I've never bought such big items from ebay but i think i'm getting your point here as ebay will be involved in the transaction which will secure my purchase.

I'm after Julian Bowen 5 drawer chest, 2 drawer side cabinet and 2 door wardrobe.

I know this is an old thread, but I recently used Bedzrus to purchase a bed, so thought I'd share my experience for anyone considering using them.

I ordered from them as their price was significantly lower than anywhere else online. Even one online store with a price match guarantee wouldn't match the Bedzrus price as they said it was below their wholesale price!

They were easily contactable by phone, and polite when I phoned a couple of times with enquiries. Unfortunately I was let down by a poor delivery service. I ordered the bed a week in advance, and received an email the day before delivery to confirm dispatch. The next day I received a call from the manufacturer (not Bedzrus) to say my item wouldn't be dispatched and I'd have to arrange a re-delivery for the next morning.

The bed didn't arrive that next morning, so I phoned the manufacturer who gave me the item tracking number to follow up with the courier myself. The courier couldn't tell me when it would be delivered, but said it would be that day.

The bed arrived late in the afternoon. Be aware that they ask you to sign for thse goods as "damaged" if you can't fully check them upon delivery. The courier wouldn't allow me to do this, and instead told me to sign as "unchecked", which Bedzrus advise not to do as it will make returns difficult.

I might use Bedzrus again if their price is good, but I would prefer to use a more reliable retailer, especially with their unreliable delivery and signing as "damaged" policy which could be a potential problem if you just signed for the goods without thinking.
