Hi,

I know a lot of people are looking for more first-hand experience type of posts from people that took the plunge and went abroad for dental treatment/implants (I did a lot of research myself).
I decided I will go to HAHS clinic in Poland (Szczecin) knowing that they are quite close to German border and I was hopping will get a bit of German quality with polish prices. I was so wrong.
The main reason I went was to do a check-up prior to an eventual extensive implant work needed that would be very expensive to do in UK, however since I was there for two days anyway I decided would do root canals for two wisdom tooth that were nagging me for a while. Both were done in one day and apart from small incident when an assistant dropped some liquid in my mouth (have no idea what was that but It felt really awkward and I was strongly advised to eat something, which I did afterwards) all went ok.
The root canal treatment I have been advised has a temporary filling and would need to come back and make it permanent. And that was the last time I heard anything from them.

Recently I went to a new dentist to try to make it permanent. To my horror I was informed that:
1. Top tooth root canal is completed however they removed part of my gum in the area of this wisdom tooth and there is not enough support to put a crown. (he mentioned it may be possible with fibre optic poles or something but is not guaranteed will succeed)
2. The bottom one is not finished, he showed me on the screen how there were no canals drilled and how bad the temporary filling was done, and he was amazed how someone will leave this as it is with big gaps between filling and tooth practically inviting infection in. No one at the clinic mentioned anything about this not being completed or that they needed to remove a big chunk of my gum.

I try to contact them after this and they completely deny any wrong doing, they do however admit they had difficulties with the bottom one and therefore that was not finished, but no one told me I’m going home potentially in a worst state that when I came into their clinic.

There are obviously more details to this, some are personal opinions and points of view, but I tried to stick to facts only, and those are:

- Top wisdom tooth gum removed without my consent and poor job in sealing temporary filling.
- Bottom one not finished, again poor job sealing it, not informed about it, left clinic and never had any more contact with clinic for 2 months (zero after care).

Personally I would avoid this rogue dentist company at all cost, however I’m not here to take decisions for anyone so DYOR and good luck.
