18th birthday party venue Co Antrim

My daughter will be 18 in March and thinking of party, mega unorganised as usual so left it a bit late. Now we are looking for a venue for party in Newtownabbey, Carrickfergus, Jordonstown area. Also any idea of prices for this sort of thing would be helpful.

Most local clubs are free for the hall hire and most do deals for buffet and dj (clubs in west belfast charge around £175 for 60 people for this deal),ring round a few in your area and compare prices and dont forget the drinks are much cheaper in clubs.

Barnabys is expensive, ballyclare golf club don't charge for their function room but require a £250 deposit up front in case there's any damage caused, buffet supplied by the caterers costs about £9 per head upwards IIRC.
Coast road in carrick may be worth a look, if she lives in carrick and is under 18 she's probably been a regular there for the last couple of years
