Mortgage advice needed - remortgage and borrowing money

Hi, I am looking for some help from a mortgage advisor please. We are due to remortgage in a few months time (coming off a 3 yr fixed deal) and would like to remortgage and borrow extra money on the mortgage (or take a year's mortgage break?) in order for me to re-train and change professions. Does anyone have any good advice on who and how to do this with or even if borrowing on a mortgage is the best way? Approx. £20-25K needed.

How much is the property worth? and how much is the outstading mortgage?

You need to see if there is any equity in the house for you to borrow extra.

Also, it the property on joint names or individual?

What kind of annual income are you getting?

We need to know all these questions before someone can answer your question.
