Wow, when you put it like that it does seem like the sensible option! I've had a read though and I just don't feel comfortable with it. I'm not sure why exactly, I just don't think it's for me. Thanks so much for the information though. x x

I'm in a lot of debt - £22,000 approx. I have CCA'd all my creditors and none of them have been able to produce a CCA. Most creditors have given up, they keep passing the debt on to someone else, I never respond. The main reason for this is that I have moved house and they don't know as I just get my mail redirected. It means I never need to worry about a knock on the door. I don't get any more calls to my mobile either. I've not paid a penny for about 2 years and have only communicated in writing if they have tried to contact me at work - sent letter requesting no contact and it seemed to work. I have spoken to a money advisor and she said that if they were going to take me to court they would have done it by now.

The thing is I have saved £1,500 and I'm wondering if I should try for F&F settlements to put an end to this. What would you do? It would really only be worth my while if they would remove the defaults from my credit file. I'm in Scotland. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
