Gyros Spice

Hi All

A friend sent me a packet of Gyros seasoning from Holland a while back & we love it. Anybody have a good receipe? The ones i found on google dont seem even slightly like it (or each other come to that)

    Can't help you on the contents, but perhaps if you asked the friend who sent it to you, they might know or be able to find out for you? :)

    Dont know but can your friend send me a bag!!!!! Me, bf and both our families absolutely loved the stuff when we lived in Germany but cant get it here in the UK.

    If you get a joint of beef (only small) or a few frying steaks. Cut them into slices. Then fry them in a hot pan and add the Gyros spice to it and keep gently frying it all off until hte steak is cooked

    Serve with egg fried rice (with added onion and bacon bits.

    That how we used to eat it anyway and its super yumyy!!

  • She sent it from Holland, and worse the contents were in Dutch ( about 35 letters per word, honest).
    A German friend is on holiday this week & I am hoping she is bring me back a load. Why dont we have it here ? I fantastic. I emailed Knorr to ask but no response (disappionted as i hoped they might send me a box). Ah,well.
