I will be going to B&Q to get one today! no luck last night but at least the bait wasnt taken maybe they dont like ham wrapped around pasta!!! I am probably breeding a fussy OS type of rat that only likes homecooked food!!! jane

We are having our kitchen ripped out and extended and they have now knocked through from the old part to the extension but there was a bit of the cavity wall showing where they took the old wall down and haven't yet replastered. one night last week I heard a scrabbling and squeaking in the kitchen and when I went in I saw........

A rat disappearing into the cavity wall!!!!!

And I heard it scrabbling around for ages inside the wall. We think they're getting in through an airbrick which must have got damaged.

For once the builder didn't give me any excuses when I asked him to come round first thing and fill in the gap in the cavity.

I'm just freaked out now thinking they've got in under the floors, everywhere...
