in Cutting tax
I'm just finishing my tax return and was just about to put in the details from my P60 to finish it off... and I can't find it! I received it just after I moved into my new house and it's definitely somewhere, but I can't find it right now.
I have access to my online payslips, but the online access to the P60 that was promised doesn't appear to be there. I'm hoping to submit by the 30th Dec so I can pay through PAYE (it's not much but a bill I could do without in one go) - if I have all my payslips for 09-10 will I be able to work out the final P60 amount? I have the details from the pay run from 31/3/10, but I'd need to add another 5 days to bring me to the end of the year. Probably only about £100 gross - any reliable way to work it out?
I'd ring work, but everyone in payroll will be off
Thanks for any help!

If you are paid monthly, then the information from your 31/3/10 would be the same as on your P60 (except no split between any previous employment(s) and your current one).
The P60 does not apportion pay earned but not yet paid in a tax year. Though there would have been a weekly pay point beyond 31/3, I can see no reason why you would then have had a payslip for the end of March.0 -
That occurred to me this morning - it was very late last night when I asked and I was panicking a bit! Thank you for pointing out the obvious, and thanks for not treating me like an idiot0
