Boots Vouchers..........can i return them?

Hi

I got given £30 gift card from Boots for Xmas but i dont really have a massive use for them so wanted to return them but dont want to traipse into town for disappointment.
So can anyone tell me if you can trade them in (i have the receipt) or will they just give me store credit which is just about the same.

Thanks

Id be amazed if you could get a refund on gift vouchers but perhaps someone else can shed some light.

You should consider selling them on ebay at a loss or just bide your time till boots have something you genuinely need at a good price then buy £30 worth of it!

I doubt they will give you cash for them. There must be things you can buy for £30 even if it is just everyday toiletries or gifts for some one else for Birthdays or Christmas (or re gift the voucher to someone for a Birthday present).

You could try buying something for £30 and then returning it but if they check the methods of payment for the items you are most likely to get a store credit or more vouchers back as the refund.

Check out the sale or wait till mid January for the 75% sale.
Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.
  • Another vote for waiting for the 75% off sale - you would be very lucky to be able to exchange for cash, but you might just be able to save yourself a fortune for the year's birthday and Christmas presents!

You could always phone Boots and ask them.
  • if you have a PAYG phone you can buy a top up with it

Why not just put them towards something? Even if it's a gift for someone else, Boots has such a huge range these days that I find it hard to believe you'd have NO use for ANYTHING they sell, ever.

Or just treat it as £X off next time you need some essential toiletries. Surely the one thing that everyone needs is toothpaste, shower gel, shampoo, etc???
