Does anyone know how to go on claiming a tax rebate .Any forms on the internet we can download its just to see if my husband is entitled to one ,as he has been unemployed 4 months and on incapacity benefit ,previous to this he had a job which only lasted 4 weeks , due to his illness and Arthiritis .In this 4 weeks they took £700 in tax from him ,and previous to that work, he has been on incapacity benefit for 5 years.Any help would be appreciated.

I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0
