May grocery challenge £45.61/£1200 -
I originally owed £21,000 on credit cards in March 2009. I managed to pay £11,000 by Jan 2010. This left me owing £10,000 on the 1st Jan 2010. I had cleared it all by the 30th November 2010. For the first time in a long while I am now debt free.
I now have some savings in my account and constantly use Martin's words, 'Do I need it, can I afford it'? I also use cashback sites for everything and can honestly say it was because of this site, that I tackled my debt head on. It's been a hard slog, but I know I will never clock up money on my credit card again. My challenge for this year is to save some money, to help my daughter through University in 2012. Thanks for the support everyone. Reading everyone else's achievements has helped loads.0 -
