    Mortgage November 2003 was £135k, but thanks to this website on 28/08/12 we became MORTGAGE FREE!
    Now just over 2 years we have taken on the challenge again! )(starting £237k Nov 2014) Current mortgage £232,399.82, current overpayment total £1550, years remaining= 17

    Just Updated my Signature! Hoping to see the amount paid off up for 2011!!!! Estimated Mortgage Free Date 1st April 2023! Aiming to paying it off quicker though i will update this date as i travel my mortgage free journey!!!

  • Had a lovely new years eve, but drank a little too much!!!! Just got in from work and got a long day tommorrow so an early start for me. A no spend day today and i found 2p woo hoo! Every little helps!!!

    Well finished my long day at work. Had a good productive day. Had a no spend day Secret saving squirel would be proud! and found another 1p woo hoo!!! Day off for me tommorow and we are child free for the day! Going to start on the labourious task of tidying and cleaning the house and decide on some new years resolutions! Wish me luck!

    Been on 4 nights so not been around much!! I'm slowly getting through the mountain of washing on the landing!! Most of the christmas decorations are down apart from the tree!! Job for today to take it down and put everything back in the garage for another year! Have managed to sort out some clothes for the charity shop so the decluttering has begun!!! Off for 3 days when i finish at 0800! Woo hoo! I have decided on one new years resolution to get to the gym so i stop wasting my membership! I am planning to go on monday so bug me to make sure i go!!!

  • Hi guys, Sorry ive not been around much! Been working quite a few nights. All in the name of boosting my pay packet! January and February mortgage payments down and approximately £945 paid off woo hoo! Not paid any extra overpayments yet but have just discovered i can pay overpayments using online banking more of an excuse to pay more off!!!

    well done on the OPs so far!! online banking will certainly make it more addictive I imagine! ;)
    what kinda things are you finding are helping with the saving/OPing? (apart from finding 1p's and 2p's ;)) I found batch cooking/ down-branding when shopping and checking all my bills/insurances was a surprising way to save alot without really doing anything! plus the world of ebay/amazon ...tho I still havent quite mastered ebay yet!
