Anyone from TESCO know?
Ian
Hi Ian
Am not from Tescos but have done this (by accident) on a couple of occasions when I have bought high value goods (eg 2 or 3 DVDs or a mobile phone), and then taken them back (because people had them etc). Was never asked for the voucher back so I used it as per normal.0 -
I didn't get one last week when I went through the self-service till. I didn't realise I should have had one until I drove out the car park and saw the great big banner on the fence.
When I went back in a couple of days later, showed my receipt, they said there was nothing they could do - in fact, they practically accused me of leaving it at the till. I always make a point of waiting to make sure the till isn't going to spew out any vouchers so I doubt that is the case!
When I drove around to the petrol station, I mentioned it there and they said customer services should have been able to sort it out. I know it would have only saved me a pound or so but it still annoyed me.7 Angel Bears for LovingHands Autumn Challenge. 10 KYSTGYSES. 3 and 3/4 (ran out of wool) small blanket/large square, 2 premie blankets, 2 Angel Claire Bodywarmers0 -
...is to buy something instore (clothes, electrical) for £50, get the petrol voucher (and the schools vouchers!), buy your fuel and take the item(s) back.0

I had this happen to me. Tbh I think the young lad serving me might have pocketed it but maybe not. I was insistent though and eventually they printed me off a test receipt (like they would use for showing someone how to work the till) and signed it, then rang through to the petrol station to let them know what they had done and to accept it.I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0
