When do the 75% off sales start?

Hi all

Can anybody remember when the shops/websites start further reductions? ive tried searching through old threads but no luck!

Don't know about when the 75% sales are likely to start. What I noticed last year was that the discounts in most shops were 70% off !

Whether it is 70% or 75% off, it does not really matter as retailers hardly ever price their goods at their supposed full prices, i.e a multibag of crisps put on a bogof offer 2 for £1.69. For probably 50 weeks of the year(or whatever maximum the law requires) the same multibag was priced at £1. So the true saving would be likely to be about 10p per bag except that the 2nd bag may end up in the bin after finding itself surplus to requirements.

Sorry, i will re-phrase that then...... when do the stores reduce their stock further?

Are you referring to Boots if so do a search you will see many similar threads started asking the same questions! Usually around mid January.

No i wasnt referring to Boots, just shops in general, thanks though........

Im in the huff with boots right now.

All the items in their 3 for 2 range this year were virtually double of that last year. I appreciate their prices are inflated slightly in an effort to entice people into buying in 3s... but this year each item in my branch was insanely overpriced!!
