Trade between Russia and China will no longer involve the United States of America dollar, a development made public by the 2 countries Wednesday.

    The international currency issue

Nothing is going to change with the dollar and how it impacts International trade. The whole planet has been anticipating the switch for China and Russia trade for some time now. The United States has wanted the Chinese yuan to be viewed differently in international trade for a while now, and this is the first step in stopping China from manipulating its value.

    Thank you. :T

More proof that USD will not collapse.

Only 12 posts, and you manage to discredit your original post.

That's just to make people like you not panic lol :)

But when I hear China and Russia ditching the Dollar that's alarm bells for me :)

How about we stay on Subject and discuss the Video instead of try and discredit ?

I am not trying to discredit, I just think you are the boy who cried wolf Asheron and as such it is hard to take your comments seriously. Having said that I think you are genuine, sincere and intelligent. I just think you read far too much into things.

FWIW I am also very concerned at the current situation. I see this coming year as make or break. If we come out of it in reasonable health then I think we are okay.

Most international trade isn't done in USD, it's done in the home currency of the selling country. The only exceptions are commodities (even then in many cases actual contracts are set in currencies other than USD I think) and countries where the currency is such a bucket of crap that the seller doesn't want it.

I have my doubts as I certainly would never accept Rubles as if they are paid to the wrong place you can't get them back. Russia is one of the very few countries where it is safer to exchange shares against the promise of the cash in USD than it is to exchange shares directly for Rubles.

Would you hand over the keys to your house on the faxed promise that a company (usually) domiciled in Turkish Cyprus for tax reasons would pay for the house a few days later? Banks do that with Russian shares as it is the lower risk approach.
  • did anyone clock the date of armageddon? 19th dec. 2012. spookily close to the kaballah prophesy that a new world order will impose itself just 2 days later.

Huh? I don't get it. The YouTube video quite clearly says that it is "a fictional story". I only got half-way through watching (because it was just a tedious list of events that haven't happened), but why is this any more interesting than a ghost story or the essay I wrote when I was 8 years old entitled, "What would happen if aliens invaded Earth"?
