Need help - prestige pressure cooker

Hi
I have a prestige pressure cooker which I have 'dug out'.
Sadly, we can't locate the cook control.
I have trawled the internet - to no avail. This is a picture of it.

You don't say what model this is? If its the 2000 or 6000range then it is obsolete, but try.....96438

Spookily enough, your username is the name of a supplier I have just had a price match on for a chest of drawers. How weird is that!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
I always have to go to local hardware shop for my safety valve and rubber seals. I haven't had to replace the weight but would imagine a hardware store would stock them.
Mine looks to be the same as yours but I don't know the model number.
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
  • Thanks for your offers of help.
Sadly, I don't have a model name as it was just a cooker in a cupboard.
however, stamped on the side are the words'Lifetime stainless steel Pressure cooker with thermocore base.'
Stamped on the base are the numbers 488.
When I tried to google the part it was described as 'Prestige cook control ref PC/B'. Prestige black cook control.

    can you help me please?
