Our New Year competition has now finished - we thank you all for supporting the competition & your entries.

Whilst we draw the winners for The New Year competition & sort out the prizes over the next 4 days - each day we will have a 'nearly just for fun' random quiz. All entrants with the correct answers will be entered in a draw to win a gift voucher to the value of £15.00 to use against any purchase from the CastOff auction platform. Why not take a look to see what you might spend your winnings on!? - https://www.CastOff.net

Today's Question is: At noon and midnight the hour and minute hands are exactly coincident with each other. How many other times between noon and midnight do the hour and minute hands cross?

Answer = [STRIKE]11 [/STRIKE] soz guys this is the wrong answer it should be 10 (it wont accept 10 or ten, you need to input either answer 10 or something like ten times)

Hi just used the answer 11 and got this reply from cast off:

    Nearly right jakesmum!

Thanks for your entry but it's ten - they coincide as follows:

    1:05, 2:10, 3:15, 4:20, 5:25, 6:30, 7:35, 8:40, 9:45, 10:50

    It's a tricky one I must admit...try it on a clock

    Regards

Hi CraSiEla, don't think we don't understand if you help with answers and then the answer is wrong ! It is a difficult job to keep up with "knowing" and "searching" everything.
If it was wrong too bad! We are all adults and decide to take it or leave it!
Just one q: which one did you resend so I can do it too?:p
We are here to help each other not to put people down, that kind of person has no doing in here and they might as well go AWAY!
Thanks so much for posting all the time...posters are great...u poster...u GREAT!!!
Thanks to those who help us to win !

  • Thanks for all your hard work CraSiEla. Could you edit your 12.18am post and put '10' as the answer?
I entered with '11' before scrolling down to see it was wrong (my own fault for not checking so I'm not complaining- just making a suggestion). I thought it might stop others making the same mistake as me (*note to self - scroll down before entering doh!)

    Thanks
