                    Hi all,
Hope you can help me here.
im 25 and my 26th birthday is in april, when i just turned 18 i went out and got a 7k egg loan and only made a few payments and ignored it since. I obtained other credit Hsbc CC and lloyds overdraft totalling about 1.5k also and a few other little bits and bobs not totalling more than £500.
I have ignored every phone call, every letter & moved several times. After spending a while searching the forum for help i have decided to ask you very knowledgeable people for some help and advice.
I have not applied for credit for years so i do not know how my situation is, today i decided to pay for a ccj check @ Trust online and expecting several ccjs esp the 7k egg loan and the hsbc cc & lloyds overdraft but all is on there is a £194.00 Unsatisfied Judgment. im really puzzled how this is the case when i owe so much money and i only have one ccj for such a small amount???
Any help would be appreciated, it is not due to being a different address as i only took out credit at from the one household.
Many thanks in advance.

            Welcome to the site!
Well done for having your LBM (Lightbulb Moment).
First thing is first, you need to find out how much you owe, and who to.
Take a deep breath, and start opening that unopened mail.
Look at your old statements and see whos trying to get money off you. some internet banking sites let you see statements from years ago.
Once you have a figure there, work out how much you spend on other stuff; Phone bills, food - Anything that you hand over cash - or card - and buy
Above is the HARDEST part... its a reality slap, but hey, we all need it from time to time!
Once you have your SOA (Statment of affairs) then you can ask people here, or debt charities which feature on these forums a lot, what option you have to repay.
as an example, a fair few on here have a Debt Management Plan - a company phones creditors on your behalf, and negotiates with them. it can result in lower a amount owed, and off the back of that monthly repayments can start, and you can work out a 'Debt Free Day'
That is an example, and may not be best for all situations, but there IS a solution.

Nowhere in your post do you indicate an intention to pay these debts back?Debt at 1/1/11 £7,049.75, now £6,682.12 at 9/3/110

I know we're supposed to be nice to moneysavers, but this level of irresponsibility is jaw dropping.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0
